ABBA, which means "father" in Hebrew, is a committee within Men's Club for fathers of young children. We plan events for dads who want to socialize with other Jewish men, participate in wide-ranging Jewish activities, and just get out of the house every now and then.
There is no time commitment or membership fee, though Men's Club membership is encouraged. ABBA events usually occur about once a month and each event is organized by different participants in the group. Events are usually scheduled at times that are friendly to fathers of young children. For more information about ABBA, contact Rob Sherman and Eddie Silverman at ABBA@olamtikvah.org.
To stay connected to ABBA and up to date on upcoming events, join our Facebook group and subscribe to our email list. You can also contact the coordinators, Eddie Silverman and Rob Sherman, via email.
