8:45 AM - 10:15 AMParking LotMen's Club and the OT Green Initiative are here to help you keep the environment clean and safely dispose of your electronics and metals. Part of Good Deeds Week.
Acceptable Materials:
Scrap Metals, including: motors, wires, chairs, lamps, frames, other metal things and small appliances (must be free of coolants, fuels and oils)
Electronics: computers, laptops, hard drives, electronic boards, flat screen monitors, flat screen TVs
Auto: auto batteries, metal containing car components
We will have different bins for:
Copper (bar, rod, tube, plate, radiators, etc)
Aluminum (including aluminum cans, foil, etc)
Steel and Tin (including food cans, beans, etc)
Computer Equipment
Electrical Wire (wire with any metal conductor and plastic cladding)
Lead Acid Car Batteries
We cannot accept:
Tires, fuel tanks, aerosol cans, paint cans, liquids, oils, large appliances (like dishwashers), non-car batteries, lightbulbs, CRT televisions, VHS or cassette tapes.
Volunteers Needed
Email mensclub@olamtikvah.org to volunteer. Volunteers should wear gloves and bring wire cutters and bins for collection.
