Yom HaShoah Author Talk

7:00 PM - 8:00 PMPods 7, 8 & 9In commemoration of Yom HaShoah, author George Eisen, will share his book, A Summer of Mass Murder: 1941 Rehearsal for the Hungarian Holocaust. The book weaves together the stories of victims, perpetrators and bystanders to explore the often-overlooked fate of Hungarian Jews in the summer of 1941.
About the Author
George Eisen is a professor of history and political science, and the author of numerous books and articles about the Holocaust and other subjects. He is the product of three educational systems - Hungary, Israel, and the United States - and his scholarly works have been translated into a multitude of languages, with corresponding awards. Fulfilling his commitment to increase international awareness of the tragedy of the Holocaust, he has spoken extensively to community and student groups all over the world.
