Men's Club Yellow Candle Program

Yom HaShoah begins Sunday evening, May 5, 2024. To honor those who perished in the Shoah, we encourage OT members to give tzedakah in the tradition of remembering loved ones on their yahrzeits. Your tzedakah will support survivors in our community and educate OT’s next generation. We will donate part of the net proceeds from the candle distribution to an important Jewish Social Services Agency (JSSA) initiative strongly supported by Rabbi Kalender—the JSSA Holocaust Survivors and Family Support program—which provides resources and services for Holocaust survivors living independently in our area. We also will use part of the proceeds to help offset the costs of Shabbat morning youth programming.
