The “Minor Prophets” weren’t of minor importance – it’s merely a description of the length of the books. These 12 prophets raise serious timeless questions about the world, human interactions and especially, the Jewish people’s relationship with God. What does God demand/request of us and what happens when we succeed or fail? These prophets, in books ranging from 1 to 14 short chapters, offer a remarkable diversity of opinions in a variety of Jewish societies and these profound books speak powerfully to us today.

Shabbat Service
Shabbat mornings offer a wealth of worship and learning opportunities for all ages. We hold one congregational service, beginning at 9:30am. Men and women of all ages - from age 13 through grandparents - lead portions of the service, receive aliyot, and read Torah. It's not unusual for younger children, below b'nei mitzvah age, to lead the chanting of specific prayers. Youth childcare and services begin in our youth wing at 10:00am for ages 18 months-6th grade. The congregation always enjoys lunch together following the service.
