All Day for 16 DaysOT OfficeHelp us support the residents of the Katherine Hanley Family Shelter this winter. All donations can be dropped off in the collection boxes in the OT office through Thursday, December 17.
Winter Outerwear, Blankets, and Personal Hygiene Donations. Donate NEW hats, gloves, and scarves for adults and children, NEW blankets, and/or full size personal hygiene items for the residents of the Katherine Hanley Family Shelter. Personal hygiene items can include shampoo, soap, tooth paste, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, or tampons.
Gift Card Donations. Gift cards make a significant impact, allowing families to buy food, gas, and other needed items, and help with transportation and medical care. Sisterhood is collecting $25 gift cards for: Gas Stations, Grocery Stores, Target/Walmart, Lyft/Uber, Metro, VISA. At this time, gift cards for gas stations (Shell and Sunoco) are most needed to help shelter residents get to work. Please send or drop off gift card(s) to Olam Tikvah and our Sisterhood/Social Action volunteers will then deliver them to the shelter on our behalf.
Christmas Breakfast. Every year, we help provide Christmas breakfast for the residents of the Katherine Hanley Family Shelter. Due to the pandemic, the shelter has asked for packaged food this year. In order to continue to provide this meal in a safe way, we are collecting donations to be able to purchase packaged and prepared foods. Any amount is appreciated. Donate online below or by check payable to Olam Tikvah with “Hanley Breakfast” in the memo.
Thank you in advance for your support.
