Each Sunday from May-October at 12:30 pm a group of gleaners from Olam Tikvah meets at the West End Farmers’ Market at Cameron Station (4800 Brenman Park Dr, Alexandria) to pack up fresh produce and deliver it to residents of local shelters.

It's impossible to know how many thousands of pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables we deliver each year to people who don’t often have access to them, but it is a lot. It's hard to think of a more important mitzvah.
