Join us for minyan and then help at the parsonage!

Where: Meet at the Parsonage at the bottom of Glenbrook Road. (Please park on the street or in the OT main parking lot.)

What to bring: Dress for the weather and working in the woods. VERY IMPORTANT: Wear long pants, long-sleeved shirt and sturdy shoes or boots. Bring work gloves if you have them. If not, gloves will be provided, along with trash bags. Bring water in a reusable container. We have not seen any poison ivy in the area, but it may be present. If you are sensitive, buy a bottle of Tecnu and have it at home to wash off any poison ivy oils. It works great to remove the oils before a rash sets in. 

What We Will Do: Removing invasives along the edge of the grass, including Japanese Honeysuckle, porcelain berry, and other invasives that are present. We may also do some planting of native perennials.

Note: Middle school and high school students are welcome to join, especially if they are working to gain service hours for their school requirements.
