Did you know that many elementary school students in our area have very little to eat between their Friday school lunch and Monday school breakfast? The Power Pack Program (P3), spearheaded by Food For Others, provides these children with food to take home and eat over the weekend. Olam Tikvah's Social Action Committee has teamed up with P3 to provide Power Packs to students at nearby Annandale Terrace Elementary School.

Join us on October 28 from 2:00-4:00pm, as we host an interfaith event at OT to assemble as many Power Packs as we can.

You can also help by donating items from the list below. Food items can be left in the wooden box in the lobby outside the Youth Wing. Single-serving size only. Please no glass containers.

• Mac & Cheese Cups or Packets (Velveeta or Kraft)
• Chili Cups
• Tuna/Chicken Salad Kits with Crackers (Bumble Bee or Starkist)
• Chef Boyardee Beefaroni, Ravioli, Spaghetti & Meatballs, or Chicken & Rice
• 100% Fruit Juice Boxes
• Shelf Stable Milk (Horizon or YooHoo)
• Capri Sun Juice Packets

Monetary donations can be made by check to Olam Tikvah with Power Pack in them memo.
