Jew of the Century
Wednesday, December 16, 2015 • 4 Tevet 5776
7:30 PM - 12:00 AMBiblical Judaism came to an abrupt end with the destruction of the 2nd Temple in the year 70. Since that time, our tradition has been dynamic, constantly embracing (and occasianally rejecting) new ideas. This course will look at individual Jews who were the agents of change in their contemporary experiences and we'll consider how those transformative experiences continue to shape Judaism today. This year's series will cover the first 6 centuries of this era.
