Who Will Live and Who Will Die: Unetaneh Tokef with Rabbi Kalender
Wednesday, September 20, 2023 • 5 Tishrei 5784
7:15 PM - 8:00 PMSanctuaryOn Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, we recite the piyut (liturgical poem) Unetaneh Tokef. The intensity of this piyut comes from its central question, "Who will live and who will die?" and invites us to contemplate teshuvah in these Days of Awe.
Come together during the ten days of teshuvah between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur to explore more of this piyut in our machzor (High Holiday prayer book) with Rabbi Kalender.
This is the second in our two-part machzor series.
