8:30 PM - 9:00 PMZoomLearn something new! The Olam Tikvah Membership Committee is proud to bring you fascinating stories and interesting ideas from our members. Enjoy a 15 minute talk, followed by moderated Q&A.
This month, we welcome Rabbi Josh Ackerman to share with us: For The Love Of All That Is Good and Holy: A chaplain’s encounter with loving, longing, and loss; desperation, disease, and death; courage, conviction, and community.
Rabbi Ackerman currently works as a hospice chaplain with Jewish Social Service Agency in Montgomery County. His interest in integrating environmental study and ethics with Judaism began during his undergraduate studies in Conservation Ecology at Rutgers University. He still finds time to get lost in the woods, which he assures his daughter was totally and completely on purpose.
