OT is having a Winter Power Pack collection to supplement the extra food needed by students in our area who experience food scarcity. 

You can donate items in the main lobby donation bench through Sunday, February 13 at 12:00pm. We are requesting the following entrees and drinks (no glass, please):

• Chef Boyardee - any flavor
• Tuna kits- they have crackers included in the package
• Chili in microwavable cups
• Hormel Completes that are kid friendly
• Macaroni and Cheese
• Shelf stable milk (chocolate or vanilla)
• 100% juice boxes 

We also welcome monetary donations. Donate by credit card below or by check payable to Olam Tikvah with "Social Action P3" in the memo line.

In addition to providing Power Packs to FCPS,  we will also provide food for students experiencing food scarcity at Little Run Elementary School. Little Run Elementary School, located just two miles away from Olam Tikvah, is a partner with the Britepaths Food4Thought program. This program provides meals for nearly 40 students at the school who may not have access to meals over the weekends. For many of these children, school meals might be the only ones they receive. 

The Food4Thought packs will support Little Run Elementary School PTA's efforts to send home food for the weekend in the backpacks of these students. Through a shared grant from Fairfax County, Britepaths partners with Food for Others to assist as many students in need as possible across FCPS with weekend food support. Food for Others largely receives and distributes packs to Title 1 schools, while Britepaths works with partner schools to help generate packs from supporters in their own community.
