ReelAbilites Film Festival Preview at OT

Sunday, February 4, 2018 19 Shevat 5778

9:30 AM - 11:00 AM

Join us in the social hall for a preview of the film The Finishers. At 17 years old, Julien has a great sense of humor, charm, and cerebral palsy. In a bid to bond with his father, Julien challenges him to participate in the Ironman race. Doing the race alone is an incredible challenge, but completing it together would be nearly impossible.

After the movie there will be an interview with Adam Toobin, who participated recently in a 5K race with Ainsley's Angels. The preview is sponsored by Olam Tikvah, the JCCNV and Federation. No charge for the program, but please RSVP so that we will have enough chairs and refreshments for everyone.

The JCCNV Cultural Arts Department is proud to present the 6th Annual ReelAbilities Film Festival: Northern Virginia March 10 - 18, 2018. ReelAbilities is the largest film festival in the country dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories and artistic expressions of people with different abilities. Initiated in NY in 2007, the festival presents award winning films by and about people with disabilities. ReelAbilities events have been held in over a dozen cities in North America and Canada.

Sorry, Registration has ended.
