Sisterhood Membership Dinner
All paid-up Sisterhood members are invited to this annual dinner, featuring speaker Yael Krigman, owner of Baked by Yael: A Nut-Free, Kosher DC Bakery. Yael is a "recovering" lawyer who began baking to relieve stress during law school, and eventually left her job at a law firm to pursue baking full time. In 2015, she opened Baked by Yael across from the National Zoo. Baked by Yael is best known for its hand-rolled and boiled bagels, mouthwatering challah, award-winning cakepops, and other delicious treats. Sisterhood will feature delicious desserts from Baked by Yael at the membership dinner!
Register below by Monday, November 27. $20 per person.
Donation Drive: If you can, please bring donations for the Katherine Hanley Shelter. Sisterhood will collect bed linens: NEW sheet sets (sheets and pillow cases), blankets/comforters, or sets that come with sheets, pillow cases and a comforter, in twin and full/queen sizes. The shelter no longer provides resident families with these essential items, so they are urgently needed. Monetary donations are always welcome. Make checks payable to OT Social Action with "KHS linens" in the memo. As always, thank you for your generosity.
