Sisterhood Spring Brunch

Sunday, May 5, 2019 30 Nisan 5779

10:00 AM - 12:00 AM

Few people escape the responsibility of caring for parents, and everyone can benefit from knowing what resources are available, including help planning for their own retirement years. Speakers will include Nancy Fiedelman, an eldercare consultant from the Aynsley Group; Rebecca Geller from the Geller Law Firm; and Tanya Disselkoen from the Fairfax County Long Term Care Coordinating Council. They will address a wide range of financial, legal, healthcare, intergenerational and housing issues.

Sisterhood and Olam Tikvah are offering three opportunities to do tzedakah on the day of the brunch:

  • Come early or stay after the brunch to donate blood at the OT Blood Drive. Click here to learn more about making an appointment.
  • Bring donations of much needed women's deodorant, mouthwash, toothbrushes and tampons for the Katherine Hanley Family Shelter.
  • Volunteer to be a "Mensch of the Event" by matching donations made to the Torah Fund during the brunch. Contact Amy Tursky to volunteer.

Register by April 26. $12 for Sisterhood members, $15 for non-members.

If you need a ride to the brunch, or can offer someone else a ride, please email Sisterhood@olamtikvah.org.

Sorry, Registration has ended.
