Social Action delivery of Rosh Hashanah baskets to Holocaust Survivors. Sunday September 21 9:00-11:00am.

This year, we will have about 55 recipients in Northern Virginia on our list.  They are typically Survivors who came after World War II and had a harder time being permitted to enter the U.S. at that time.  They are generally from Ukraine and Russia.  The survivors are notified in advance, and love receiving the bags which contain challah, wine, and other holiday goodies. JSSA will notify the recipients about a week or two in advance to know you’re coming to make a delivery. We currently have enough drivers. Thank you for everyone who volunteered!
