A new Israeli TV show just joined Netflix! The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem, based on the 2013 book, looks through the eyes of Spanish and Ashkenazi citizens of Jerusalem in the days of Turkish Jerusalem, the British mandate & the days of independence.
