The Evolution of Kashrut
Wednesday, November 14, 2018 • 6 Kislev 5779
7:30 PM - 12:00 AMIs that kosher? We believe the answer will be yes or no, yet, when we look at the laws of kashrut, from its roots in the Torah to its practice today, we find that kosher standards have changed over generations. Over three classes one each on the themes of dairy, meat, and parve we will explore how these categories were understood throughout history, the laws that each category must follow to be kosher, and how these standards have evolved over time.
