You Are What You Eat

1:30 PM - 12:00 AMWhat does the food in the Torah say about the people who ate it?
Lets be honest..it's all about the food. Its true in life and it's true in the Torah. In fact, food often plays a huge role in pivotal moments that changed the course of history for our ancestors. But what do those dishes say about the people who prepared and ate them? By looking at their menus, what can we learn about their enviroment, the way they treated one another, and their transition from enslavement to freedom? We'll spend a few weeks exploring the culinary side of the Torah and then take that text to the kitchen to get a taste of their world.
