Sunday, September 22, 2019 • 22 Elul 5779
9:30 AM - 12:00 PMSocial HallSukkot is the ultimate home holiday. Parents of children ages 0-6, join us for an interactive morning with other parents learning how to make this holiday fun and engaging for your whole family!
This Sukkot experience will include family-friendly ideas for celebrating Sukkot, tips for building a sukkah that fits the space you have and a take-and-make sukkah project to do with your family at home. Plus, each family will also receive a free lulav and etrog set! Your registration will enter you in a drawing to win a free sukkah.
Childcare will be provided free for children ages 18mo-6 years old, so parents can enjoy the workshop with their peers. Please register your children below when you register yourself for the workshop.
Our sukkah is your sukkah - come back on Erev Sukkot, Sunday, October 13, from 11:30am-12:30pm to pick up your lulav and etrog, learn how to shake it and spend some time in the OT sukkah.
Free and open to the entire community. Register by Wednesday, September 11.

The Fast of the Firstborn (Ta’anit Bechorim) commemorates the horrific tenth plague that God inflicted on Pharaoh and the Egyptian people. In recognition of this moment, firstborn Jews fast on Erev Pesach. As this is a minor fast, there is a widely practiced exemption: Judaism allows anyone who attends a religious feast to forego fasting. It is customary to hold a celebratory meal on the completion of study of a piece of text, called a siyyum (conclusion). Whether you are a firstborn relieving yourself from the pre-Pesach fast, or anyone else simply looking to learn a little, come join us for the siyyum. After the siyyum, we will celebrate with a light breakfast. -
