Join Rabbi Kalender to consider the prayer and the concept of Rosh Hashana as Yom Hadin, the day of judgment. What does it mean that God knows our secrets, judges us, and guides us with compassion? We’ll discuss this anxious, yet hopeful theology.

Shabbat Service
Shabbat mornings offer a wealth of worship and learning opportunities for all ages. We hold one congregational service, beginning at 9:30am. Men and women of all ages - from age 13 through grandparents - lead portions of the service, receive aliyot, and read Torah. It's not unusual for younger children, below b'nei mitzvah age, to lead the chanting of specific prayers. Youth childcare and services begin in our youth wing at 10:00am for ages 18 months-6th grade. The congregation always enjoys lunch together following the service.
