Israel's hit documentary comedic series, The New Jew, is coming to Northern Virginia!

The series, hosted by Israeli comedic and cultural personality Guri Alfi, is a journey through some of the most unexpected places in North America. From the “Backcountry Bayit” in Colorado to Rabbi Angela Buchdahl of Manhattan’s Central Synagogue to Rabbi Jamie Korngold (“the Adventure Rabbi”), the series explores real stories of American Jews who are dismantling old stereotypes of the Diaspora Jew. 1. Watch Party, Sunday, November 20, 11:00am at Olam Tikvah (register here)

We'll be screening the first episode of The New Jew here at Olam Tikvah on Sunday, November 20 at 11:00am. 2. An Evening with the Creators, Thursday, December 15 at 7:30pm at the Pozez JCC (register here)

As part of this incredible event, Guri Alfi, one of Israel’s top comedians who stars in the show will be joined by Moshe Samuels, the Creator of the show for an in-person event at the JCC on December 15. It will be a humorous and insightful conversation about the making of the show and what they learned from their experience.
