Holy Chow! will continue central point deliveries of kosher Chinese food to Northern Virginia every-other-week now on Sunday evenings. There is no minimum order amount and a flat $5 delivery fee per order. Orders will be delivered to OT at 5:45pm, just before OTRS pickup.
To order:
- Go to www.holychow.me or call the store directly at 301-649-5466 and let them know that your order is for delivery to Olam Tikvah.
- If ordering online, please mark your order for pickup at 5:45pm and then write in the notes section: CENTRAL POINT DELIVERY OLAM TIKVAH, FAIRFAX 5:45PM.
- For questions about your order, please contact Holy Chow!
- You or a friend must be present to pick up your order as orders cannot be stored inside the building. Please stay in your car and form a line starting at the far end of the OT parking lot. Your food will be brought to your car.
- If you are only at OT to pick up Holy Chow, please proceed directly to the far end of the parking lot. If you will also be picking up students at OT Religious School and don't want to lose your spot in the OTRS carpool line, email Rachel Blumenthal in advance and we will attempt to bring your order to your car so that you do not have to wait in two separate lines.
If you have questions about the delivery or the parking lot pickup configuration, please contact Rachel.
Upcoming delivery dates are November 1, November 15, November 29, and December 13

The Fast of the Firstborn (Ta’anit Bechorim) commemorates the horrific tenth plague that God inflicted on Pharaoh and the Egyptian people. In recognition of this moment, firstborn Jews fast on Erev Pesach. As this is a minor fast, there is a widely practiced exemption: Judaism allows anyone who attends a religious feast to forego fasting. It is customary to hold a celebratory meal on the completion of study of a piece of text, called a siyyum (conclusion). Whether you are a firstborn relieving yourself from the pre-Pesach fast, or anyone else simply looking to learn a little, come join us for the siyyum. After the siyyum, we will celebrate with a light breakfast. -
